Entelechy generates 70 minutes of music from one tam-tam. Karlheinz Stockhausen did something comparable in Mikrophonie 1, but Prévost goes deeper into tam-tam DNA. The final track rolls over a half-hour duration and isolate overtones and timbral colour, allowing the instrument to punch above its conventional expressive weight.
